Scan My Skincare is the renamed Fungal Scan app operated by James Hall. The existing full terms of service apply to the app and supporting websites. That page retains the established legal terms and contact details.

What the app and website provide

Ingredient-name lookup, selected checks and personal product-history tools are informational. They do not diagnose, treat or cure a condition, identify an allergy or guarantee product suitability. Product observations do not establish an ingredient cause. Extraction and reference data can be incomplete; compare your package.

Purchases

Available offers, prices, trial eligibility and renewal terms are shown in the app's Apple purchase flow. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple account settings. A one-time Lifetime offer is separate from a subscription and is shown only when available. Do not assume an offer is available from a website description.

Your records and other services

You control your device-local Shelf and any backups you export. The browser checker does not sync with the app. Provider data practices are explained in the privacy policy. Manufacturer names and third-party sources belong to their respective owners and are not endorsements.
